Fix The MTA

In December of 2021, Queens Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani and Melted Solids launched a media campaign to amplify a legislative package of eight bills designed to transform New York City’s public transit system. With the goal of running a policy campaign like an electoral one, Fix the MTA achieved many of its objectives: securing $35 million dollars for more frequent subway service and a first-of-its-kind free bus pilot program across NYC.
